Marcia Dolgin, a native of Vermont, has crafted a career based on her love of the arts. After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture at Boston University School of Arts, Marcia has become a reknown graphic designer, art director, illustrator, hand sign carver, printmaker and photographer.
When living in California, she was fortunate to win the ability to attend a workshop with Ansel Adams. This significant event evolved into her working with Ansel’s team over the next three years, resulting in Marcia becoming a master black and white printer.
In 1987, Marcia chose to return to New England, where she opened her own studio, located in Sharon, Massachusetts. She specializes and is passionate in the art of photographing children and families. She produces her own in-house digital imaging using her own printers. The company Yellowhouse has named Marcia as a “master in digital imaging.”
Marcia consults with several corporations including Ergosoft and Epson of America, as well as being a contributor to professional photography publications. She has received recognition and won numerous awards for her photography and portrait art.
