A successful entrepreneur, having worked for 27 years as Senior Corporate Executive and for 5 years as Business Performance Coach for FocalPoint Business Coaching and Brian Tracy International Trainers, Luis Vicente Garcia is currently the CEO of the Venezuelan American Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Venamcham) in Caracas, Venezuela. Luis Vicente works in different areas with business owners and corporate executives to help them achieve their goals and improve the performance of their companies with focus in corporate strategy, finance, management, and leadership.
Luis Vicente is a best-selling author, having written two Spanish language books on franchising,
‘Motivando al Futuro Franquiciado’ (2011) and
’101 Preguntas y Respuestas sobre las Franquicias’ (2013) and has co-written over 15 international Best-sellers, alongside authors such as Brian Tracy, Jack Canfield, Carlos Slim and Joe Vitale.

Luis is a member of the Public Speakers Academy, and was inducted into the National Association of Experts, Writers and Speakers and the National Academy of Best-Selling Authors, from which he has received a Speakers EXPY Award, a Media & Communications EXPY Award, and three QUILL Awards for his ‘willingness to educate people’. Luis is also a member of the Bestselling Authors International Organization, of which he is a member of the Book Review and Editorial Board. Luis Vicente has received several EIPPY and eLit Awards for his contribution to this Organization. His conferences and seminars have been attended by thousands of people in many parts of the Americas and has keynoted conferences alongside Brian Tracy, Michael E. Gerber, Nido Qubein, Steve Forbes and other top international speakers. Luis Vicente was the executive producer of the documentary ARMONIA, and a producer for the documentary RETURN TO ESPERANZA, which received an EMMY Awards for Social Cause. He has received three Telly Awards for these documentaries.
Luis Vicente worked extensively in both the manufacturing and service industries for 27 years, gaining the experience and knowledge to become a business coach and consultant. He held leadership positions such as CFO for a multinational insurance company and companies in the service industry. Luis has also spent 20+ years in the area of franchising, creating and coaching companies from inception to becoming large franchise corporations. He was a member of Board of Directors of the Venezuelan Franchise Chamber, Profranquicias, since 1999, having been the Chamber’s Chairman form 2017 until 2019, and since being a member of the Chamber’s Advisory Board.
A Georgetown University Economist, with an MBA from the American University in D.C., and Executive Certificates in Service Enterprise Management (Universidad Metropolitana, 2008) and Leadership and Management (Notre Dame University, 2010), Luis Vicente is an avid learner and a believer in continuous training and education. He also has a master’s degree in Leadership and Organizational Strategies (Michigan State University, 2013), in Positive Psychology (Universidad Metropolitana, 2016) and in Social Corporate Responsibility (Universidad Central de Venezuela, 2020). Luis is a firm believer in continuing education and personal improvement and development. Since 2014 he is a professor at the Executive Certificate in Franchise Management and since 2017, he has been also a professor Executive Certificate in Service Enterprise Management, both at Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas. He has taught at other institutions such as Universidad Catolica Andres Bello (Caracas, Venezuela), Universidad Rafael Urdaneta (Maracaibo, Venezuela), the Houston Community College (Houston, TX) and was a Guest Scholar at High Point University in 2014.
Currently Luis is CEO of the Venezuelan American Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Venamcham), Editor-In-Chief of the Business Venezuela Magazine, creator of MOTITUD, and member of the Board of Directors and Goodwill Ambassador of Goodwill Venezuela.
Luis has been married for 29+ years and has two sons. Currently lives in Caracas, Venezuela.
